That's the thing. I look at the old game and the new game, but I don't see any differences. None at all. I don't understand what they want money for.
Have you tried to play or have you just opened the game one time for 5 seconds and closed it? From 0.4x to 0.5x it's a completely new game. Hell, even from 0.53 to 0.54 there are huge changes that really alter the game experience. Just go back a few pages, there are pictures comparing .53 and .54, you'll see the difference there.
As for the freemode gameplay, the only way you won't see any difference is if you're just loading random poses with random characters and not even trying to pose them around for yourself. Remember each character has a different body, you have to work a little if you want good results.
The controls can be quite frustrating, but 0.4x used to be WAY worse, leading to a lot of cursed poses. In .5x it's much easier to avoid cursed poses, that's already a win if you ask me.
I reckon some of the milking is real. But it's not pure milking, the game has had a pretty stellar progress since the hiatus, though it does need many improvements to become perfect.
In any case it might just not be YOUR type of game, in that case just move along to something that suits you.
