| Two of the best episodes of Naruto (except from big fights though), this was so sad, seeing all this animated and watching Kushina and Minato protect Naruto. I wish my parents were like that ahaha! Unfortunately I didn't cry, maybe because I knew what was gonna happen, but I felt really strange at the end, very upsetting, they shouldn't have died. |

| Really nice episode but was I the only one who found it a bit dragged out? When I was already thinking how crappy and underpowered Kyubi is they actually stop a point blank punch with their bodies... looooool. Again, I truly enjoyed it but they just seemed to try way too hard to make Naruto's parents badass and in the process made everything else look ridiculously crappy, better example is Minato's sacrifice... I mean, really?! That must've been the worst self justification I've ever seen... and one of the god damn longest ones as well. Should they had trimmed it down by 10 minutes or so it would've been so much more epic and we wouldn't have the displeasure of getting plot holes swung at our faces left and right. |

| Holy shit goosebumps... (never thought I would have that over Naruto) Anyways, these last few episodes of Naruto have been my favorite. Love Minato and Kushina, they make this series so much more worth watching for me! <3 :D Oh and the next episode looks freakin hilarious! |

| ... I guess I'm the only one not drinking the Kool-Aid ... was I really the only one who gave up on the 20-minute death speech with a "God, shut up and DIE ALREADY!"? This was so overwrought and went so fricking LONG. The parts I actually wanted to see were glossed over (Madara didn't fight for a single second on-screen, WTF?). I also hated Naruto's mom telling her in the same breath to 'avoid bad women' and 'find someone like me' (since she looks like a blatant Expy of Sakura). I'm pondering finally giving up on this show, if this is the best it has to offer. Maybe when the war actually starts I'll give a shit. (EDIT: Oops, looks like the episode I saw actually skipped the interesting part to go straight to 249. I may have more to say when I see 248) Alright, I have to admit 248 was damn badass, especially the fight with Madara, and would have made the intolerable pacing of 249 a bit better (especially since they were meant to be a double episode). I still can't stand Naruto's parents for some strange reason. Especially his mom, for some reason she comes off to me as Kishimoto's attempt at a more-popular Sakura. Maybe it's the 'Only Three Faces' problem, but it makes the Naruto/Sakura ship kinda squicky. It's odd, because unlike a lot of fans of the series, I don't despise the title character himself ... his parents just rub me the wrong way. Third Hokage just seems bland to me, despite his obvious badassness. |

| Man, Minato sure kicks ass, he routed Tobi/Madara (or whatever the f**k he calls himself) in one episode! This is a problem with super fast people, they fight super fast too! :D I wanted to see more action but I'm not necessarily complaining, in fact I think the pacing was just right for Episode 248. IMHO episode 249 somehow got long winded in the middle especially with the speeches though it still made me tear up a bit at the ending scene with his mother.I can't believe NS is making me cry, I'm such an old fan. XP |

So my heart goes out to him, if it wasn't for kushino and minata's love for their son, he wouldn't be alive now. I am pretty sure kushino understands what minata did full well. I mean that is their son for god sakes. |

You are kind of right. They wasted too much time with the kyuubi or even the third Hokage doing nothing. Also Minato had good reasons but the way he phrased it was amateurish at best. | OMG! Yabai ... This episode was really EPIC! I'm left speechless. Words can never describe how I felt about this ep! I really enjoyed watching Minato overpower Madara. Badass deathmatch =) I'll definitely re-watch this at least once!! It's really been a while since an anime made me sit at the edge of my chair! Going for the 2nd part discussion =) |

| These two episodes were my first two Naruto episodes since I dropped the anime back in 2009. Absolutely amazing, I love Minato and Kushina together and wish they made a spin-off of when those two were young. |
| I have an idea. Make a new show, only about Minato and younger Kakashi/Guy/Third. Minato is by far, one of the coolest, strongest and most interesting guys I've seen in anime. So frackin awesome. I just love the guy. His abilities, his ability to actually THINK (unlike his son) and to react are beyond words. I'm officially adding this guy to favorites list..and there's not even so much of him throughout the series, only a few flashbacks here and there. I sure do hope there'll be more of those in the future. |

Minato's death wasn't the issue, it was his choice to die that was, even Kushina, who was under a lot more stress then him, wasn't impressed with his decision and more annoying so; he managed to have the time to put forward exactly why he had pretty much given up - time he could have spent simply attempted to seal the tailed beast in Naruto. There was no need to use the death god. Though I found her OK, I didn't like the portrayal of Kushina for the same reason I don't like the girls of Naruto - mouthy, violent when it doesn't matter and ultimatley, dazel in destress - even Kurenai bugged me in this ep' during her split second of glory and yes, hint hint at Naruto/Sakura (I'm not romantic personally). As for Minato - don't like him at all; boring and selfcentred on a whole. |

| I cried through both eps, it was quite embarrasing when my gf walked in from work. She looked at me and was like WTF happened. So I had to rewatch both eps again with her which made me cry even more... |

| Minato, such a freaking awesome man, damn he's good. Been waiting for this flashback for a long time and it overachieved my expectation. That was so moving and touching, watching them say their last words and knowing they were going to die. Was crying the non stop both episodes, just so sad. Every scene was just amazing, loved it. This was so epic and intense, had chills the entire time. |

| it looks like the writer set this up as if naruto is gonna get together with sakura (since sakura and his mother are reallllllly alike) which is good news for me, cuz i luv sakura. IF it turned out to be hinata the whole anime would be ruineddddd!!!!! i can't even imagine naruto and hinata. nope, not possible. |

| these episodes were mind blowing and heart wrenching!! ha, funny how Madara was easily outsmarted by Minato, psh that's what he get for underestimating the Yellow Flash!! Darn I couldn't help but tear up at the last part.. Naruto is very lucky to have such great parents, wish they didn't have to die though. Epic episode is epiiiic !! 10/5 |

| Wow, that was one of the most epic fight scenes. Minato is completely bad ass. They way he handled that Rasengan along with his teleportation, that was pro. Gotta say, I am very impressed with this season! |
| Teleportation is so powerful! I am amazed at the fourth hokage's power! He was beating tobi! I hope Naruto get's to the fourth's level. It's great to finally see what really happened. I hope they make more 1 hour episodes.. On a side note I liked when they switched animation styles to manga for the nine tails destruction. |
| I've dropped Naruto for a very long time now, but my friend gave me his HDD and I had nothing to do, so I was browsing through it. I still keep up with the story and only watch the episodes that are good, I was glad I saw this. |
