I completely understand that. Just remember we don't know everything that is going on yet. Hopefully, by the end of the story, you have a little bit different opinion of him.

Oh... Uncle Loco the users on this site aren't known to be able to use the prerogative of intelligent people of being able to change their minds. Once they say "I hate X" it's a Done deal. They will bend reality, make the wildest claims, but, will NEVER change their mind.
It's like it's a religion or something... or a cult... or both? I dunno... but it's unlikely that you'll ever be able to sway them. I'm just trying to temper your expectations mate...

Technically, the entire body, including the mind(brain) is part of the vessel that carries us. We are the neurons that powers the body. When the neurons go dark, we cease to exist. Unless of course you believe in souls, then the neurons are the souls and when the body dies, we are released to go... Wherever tf it is afterwards.Hmmm... I loved that "Technically". To be clear we are a construct. A kind of virtual reality created by our neural network based on the input of it's sensors. WE, don't have a physical presence. Obviously, what happens to/on/in the body that carries us, affects the sensors, so, in part, we are a reflection of our body in a much larger sense than our body is a reflection of us.
Feelings, emotions, are nothing but electrical impulses that create chemical reactions. Those, have a direct effect on our neural network, that then WE interpret inside our Virtual Reality. When WE react to those impulses, other signals create other chemicals that then propagate through the neural network.
No mate, I don't think WE survive biological death. You, and everyone else, are completely free to think otherwise, it is completely irrelevant, both to me and to you.

Well, if your machine (Body) isn't functioning, how is the Virtual Environment sustained?
Try running a Virtual Machine on your PC, when it's running, turn off the PC...

Well Uncle Loco, I finally was able to get to The Perfect Town, and I have to say, you don't disappoint! I would say that my only issue was the subject matter. Human trafficking and abuse is something I don't take likely and have a hard time with enjoying any potential lewd moments with that subject in the background. But I have faith in you to make it work one way or another because your story telling has been excellent so far and I plan to be in it for the long haul. Great work!

Thanks I am glad to hear you are enjoying it so far. I will do my best not to let you down.
I know the trafficking subject is hard to handle which is partly why it is here. You will learn more but our new MC has dedicated his life to saving girls from these types of groups and started his foundation after the tragic event he briefly talked about during the date with Izzy. He even hires humans to help as well in areas that need it most. What I will say is you will not see anything happen to anyone, it may be implied that something will happen though. Worst case you see someone naked but nothing beyond that. I can't promise all sunshine and rainbows, especially considering the setting for my games and the curse placed on our MC (Sam), but I will do my best to shield you and others from anything that doesn't need to be seen.

The list retconned the man eating insatiable unrepentant monster into the mentor for both MC and his beau.

Too late for the fake ... Emilia Perez like way of monster worship that the list is to that abomination.
