I just finished episode 11 and I have to say this is the first time I found myself not liking the MC. Normally my favorite games are ones where I can imagine that I'm the MC going through all the adventures. In this episode there were at least three instances where I felt that the episode 11 MCs behavior didn't match the previous 10 episodes.

Granted it's not a traditional relationship and MC already knew that Neil wouldn't get it, but he did such a terrible job explaining the throuple. He could've given some backstory, how he bonded with Maya, how she and Josy were already together, etc, but no, MC got all pissy about it and sulked for a month, bringing the girls down too. And that wasn't even the biggest issue facing the three of them this episode :cautious:

Maybe in Ep. 12 MC and Derek will pass out drunk in Maya's room and a fire will break out. J/M return and have to choose whether to save MC, Derek, or their box of sex toys as the cliffhanger ending for season 3.

MC not listening to Sage & Jill seems perfectly in character to me. He usually only thinks about himself and is terrible with listening to and interpreting the emotions and thoughts of others. Same happens during the talk with Sage during Lily's route.

Fair point that there are certain choices I didn't make and certain scenes I didn't see. I usually play a "good guy" path so those are the choices I make. I don't like to pay for (virtual or real) pussy so I skipped that entire side of the game AND I hate Quinn and wouldn't chose a single option that puts me with or closer to her. I wouldn't even take the threesome with Sage and Quinn after planning the Halloween party due to said hate.

So for me, I see him as the guy who tried to plan good dates, thanks LIs and brothers for help and support, loves and respects his Dad, etc. Perhaps if I played some of the other paths my opinion would change. Thanks for sharing your own perspective Chill. Peace man.

That's the nice thing with Lily: You don't need to pay her to be on her route :) You can get her for free in episode 5 by not having DIK affinity. After that just have sex with her at the HOTs and at crossroads you go for Others. After the Halloween party you can go rolling without paying a dime.

Btw, you can also be on Riona's route without paying anything by playing your cards right.

1. Just like the Zoey confession, it's a forced scenario for conflict. MC just sees it as his best friend, which is reasonable. The problem is how he explains it. This does get resolved with Sage over the phone, and Jill doesn't see it as that big a deal, even if she is sensitive about it. MC has every right to care for Zoey as a friend, and explain that to his MG.

2. MC is an idiot; but that's kind of the idea of the throuple. Everyone doesn't know what they're doing. Derek is a friend with some advice, but can't help with everything. So the three need to fumble around for a bit. The problem is mostly with Josy, whereas Maya is awesome as always.

3. This is interesting. I see what DPC was going for. On one hand, you're supposed to be a Frat Leader and Party Planner. It makes no sense you should leave. A DIK/DIK path would stay, since he's on the Others Path. On the other, you have a dedicated MG and new family to join, and they're teasing you to come (or at least Bella starts this.) These kinds of paths are good, because in some play-throughs you can't choose to stay or join Bella's party. Especially with a DIK Sage path. The MG path tries to get the best of both worlds, and it does an okay job, as most of the time at the party you're trying to avoid Cheat Points anyway, especially since Crossroads made you choose. So the point of the Party is lost on a MG Sage route, regardless of DIK points. So I think this was handled okay. (I just wish Bella and Jill had a bit more involvement, as this was Bella's party, outside of doing their own Panty Party and beer pong event, and outside of exposition in the Episode, they and their (lack of) conflict -- even with the ski getaway, rule book, and cemetery -- didn't really amount to much this episode.)

Derek isn't so bad at pulling Ashley back.
To be fair, Ashley has been heavily attracted to Derek since about day one. In a way, Ashley is Derek's Josy.

Any other girl however (except Arieth but well, she's Arieth).... I don't even try to help him with Camilla because I know it's a lost case, especially when drunk xD

Yeah but still, why would Quinn go to Bella's for Sage when they're already gone to the hospital
Quinn to the Hots: "Has anyone seen Sage, it's urgent"
One of the hots: "Yeah she said she was going to the librarians for Christmas dinner"

Quinn goes to Bella's house, the door is unlocked, sees the commotion and blood, and looks around to see if anyone is there, checks the open door, it could be that simple

Could be, but I don't think many if any of the HOTs (except of course those in the Scooby gang) know where Bella lives. Addresses of teachers usually aren't known to students and I doubt Quinn would get that information from B&R ;)
