I don't get why people still don't understand the point of the whole "King and Queen" bs. You guys do know it's actual human psychology to latch onto people/animals hell even objects more emotionally if we call them by their names or we name them ourselves right?
Lily says herself on episode 10 at the pier that the reason she wanted a relationship with MC but not a romantic one was because of her whole life plan and what is the best way to treat a realtionship as shallow? Not using your partner's name and make it seem like it just a transactional kind of relationship.
However, she said so herself that episode as well when they talk about the whole rolling thing that it's not bad that the MC wants to learn more from her even if she said she didn't want to tell him anything yet.
When Sage gets involved into her "non-relationship"(BTW, minus points for Sage on that one betraying the whole "Don't turn on each other"), She immediatly goes defensive and feels even insecure about the whole ordeal to the point of not only accusing Sage of outright being jealous but also asking the MC if he actuall feels like she is only using him, when the mc denies this she chooses or forgets her whole idea and tells him personal stuf no one in the whole campus know, that is SUPER big and it just shows she's been catching feelings for a while know.
She just tried to keep things shallow to protect her job and
maybe because a part of her would've started to regret some of her life choices up to that point.
Also, if "King and Queen" is omega cringe for everyone then "Quinn" is cringe by default I'm afraid
