I live in the U.K. now and I remember being asked who I think was the best coming up a few years ago. I said Durk and everyone said “who’s that, what about Roddy Rich” etc., and I all I’m thinking is “Yall don’t know who Durk is?” Crazy to see how far he’s come in that short time. They catch on to certain artists late out here though. I remember someone saying “Gucci Mane is getting big now” after he came out of jail as if he wasn’t a legend.
