I'm finishing my Associate of Fine Arts degree this March, so my Patreon page's development is on hold until then. I've also been getting back in line with my medication, so I'm hoping to improve myself in general. I'll also begin a proper stream schedule, focused on the weekends.

So, in one of life's cruel little ironies, there's a new, 6 inch Freya Figurine, but there's one catch; you have to get Beatrix with her.

Now, I don't know about anyone else, but there's something really questionable about pairing the two of them together like this. Considering what Beatrix did to Freya's people.

I am getting back together with a high school flame! I'm still working out the details of my visit, but I'm predicting a trip before the summer is out.

Hey guys! So I've had a bit of a computer emergency; the motherboard's gotten shorted and I'm in need of new parts to build a new PC.

With that in mind, I'm offering $10 sketches for the rest of February!

This year's been a pretty dynamic and tumultuous one. I saw progress in several creative comic endeavors, specifically slowly picking up Shining Sky again, producing more prototype comics for it, and opening Broken Mirror.

On the downside, I've had to make painful decisions recently that were a long time coming, but have become necessary with extensive reflection. With the help of a few friends however, I'm moving on from them with a brighter outlook for the coming year.

With that, both aforementioned projects will continue seeing hopefully exponential growth in 2019!

I ought to post here more often. To that effect, here's a bit of what I've been doing, lately!

Currently I'm drafting up an Endtown fancomic, called Broken Mirror. Right now it's Being Hosted on DeviantArt But I'll probably repost it here in the future.

I'm doing this as practice in writing for a comic and to put out some ideas I've wanted to for that setting. Fear not; Shining Sky will always be my most important work, and will most definitely continue.

So, about an Amtrak trip I just went on to San Jose for Further Confusion.
First off, it got delayed an entire day after heavy snow in Portland. Then the following day, we got further delayed for five hours after the engine broke down outside Martinez, CA.

Here's the thing, a union law sets a limit on the number of hours an engineer can work. So after that 5 hour debacle, he'd run up the clock for the day, and we had to wait over another hour for Amtrak to wrangle up a new one at Emeryville. I was supposed to get to San Jose thursday morning, but I didn't arrive until around 11pm on friday. So that sucked.

The return trip, however was a bit more exciting. Some drug crazed 20-something pulled a box cutter on Amtrak staff in the observation car about a half hour north of Klamath Falls. We were ushered out while he had a standoff with the conductor for at least a half hour, throwing around whatever wasn't nailed down. We came to a stop at a road crossing, waiting for kevlar clad Klamath police to come taze him multiple times. In the end, the incident lasted over two hours, and I lost my phone in the chaos.

I initially thought it was taken by Amtrak, as they found one and I lost mine, but I couldn't get them to show it to me and apparently I couldn't describe it well enough. But apparently a passenger found it, and gave one of my friends a call. By this point however, I'd already ordered a replacement and it wasn't worth going back to King Street Station to pick up where it got left. So that's just as well.

Suffice to say, I'm flying next time.
